So if you’ve just moved into Allen, TX, we want to point out a few family-friendly places where you can go and have a great time!
1. Celebration Park.
This is a gigantic park with all kinds of playground equipment, open spaces, soccer fields, places to host birthday parties, walking trails—it’s just a great place for your family to take in the great outdoors!
2. Watters Creek.
This is a popular area because not only does it have shopping and dining, but also an outdoor amphitheater where they have outdoor concerts on an event lawn, with a little playground there too. You can spend an entire day here!
When the weather’s not so great for getting outdoors, the Natatorium is a great place to swim year-round. They have indoor heated swimming, which is great in December and still great when it’s July and rainy!
4. The Villages of Allen.
This is very similar to Watters Creek but without the amphitheater. They have all kinds of dining, shopping, and a dog park. It’s a great place to spend a weekend afternoon!
This is a bowling alley in Allen. Not only can you bowl and eat there, but there’s also a game center, rock climbing, laser tag … it’s another one of those places you could spend hours at on a Saturday or Sunday and have plenty of things to do for the entire family!
