Family Friendly Places to Swim in the Plano Area

It’s hot. And it can be hard to keep the kiddos (and yourself) sane during these extreme temperatures. So we wanted to give you three ideas for places to take your youngsters to keep the both of you cool!

1. Ford Pool in Allen.

Here they have cabanas for some shade, plus a 20-foot waterslide and, of course, a pool. You get a discount off admission if you’re an Allen resident, which is great! You can even get a season pass. If you’re in Allen, this is a great way to keep cool this summer! 

2. Apex Center in McKinney.

Apex Center has things like a workout area and a place to play basketball, but also a waterslide and a pool as well. It has plenty of activities for adults and kids. It’s a great place to spend a few hours and get all the kids’ energy out! 

3. Texas Pool in Plano.

What’s cool about the Texas Pool is that it’s in the shape of Texas! Besides the fun shape, they have areas for water volleyball and beach volleyball, as well as barbecue grills and a snack bar. They have all kinds of family fun and another way to beat the Texas heat.
