Usually, when our clients want us to do this we put a lockbox, similar to what realtors use, on the house so that we can come into work, but your house can still be protected and locked up safely.
3. Do it before you need it.
Lots of times people don’t consider a remodel until they need it, like at Thanksgiving, or when they’re having family or company coming for the Christmas holidays—any time they’re about to do a lot of entertaining. That’s when people start to think, “I wish we had a bigger island!” Or, “My family’s coming to town—I wish we had an updated kitchen!” Or maybe more cabinet space. But if you think about that right before Thanksgiving and you’re cooking for Thanksgiving—it’s too late! But now is the perfect time to think about getting your dream kitchen well before it’s time to entertain for the holidays! Then when the holidays do come around, it’s already done!
