Benefits of a Freestanding Jacuzzi Tub

Today I want to talk about a unique tub we recently installed. It was the first time we’d ever installed a tub like this. Why is it so unique? It’s a freestanding Jacuzzi!
More Space in your Bathroom
This tub is an acrylic freestanding tub, which is a common type of tub. But what makes it unique is that it has a Jacuzzi motor in it. This gives you a tub with all the comfort and benefits of a Jacuzzi, but you don’t have to have that big drop-in tub with a huge framing around it taking up a lot of room.
The homeowners’ previous tub was dropped in and occupied the whole rectangular space. However, the homeowner really wanted a freestanding tub in that space. This particular unit is anchored to the floor, not on decking or mounted to the wall like some freestanding tubs.
They Can Be Controlled With a Remote
If you were to come to look at this tub and look closely, you’d see a little box on the floor by the counter near the tub. This box is where the motor is. It blends in nicely with the bathroom, it’s not very big, but it does power the tub really well and out of sight. The tub has a controller on the wall, but it also has a remote control! This tub also has a heated backrest, which is really comfortable! The faucet fills the tub quickly, and it drains quickly. And after it drains, the tub dries itself! The motor has a feature that takes care of the drying for you!
Massage and Heating Features
The remote control gives you different massage features and lets you control the heat of the backrest as well.
So if you don’t want to get rid of your Jacuzzi because you like bubbles and you like all the Jacuzzi features, this is a great option to have!
Price
The particular tub we installed was right around $5500, but I’m sure you can find something like this in all price ranges. If you look around you’ll be able to find something less expensive, and probably something double that price as well!
