5 Fun Things To Do In Frisco TX

One of the first things that families do when they move to a new city like Frisco is to find out what fun things there are to do for the whole family. 

We have five great ideas for you to try out!

1. Shopping

If you enjoy shopping, it doesn’t get any better than Stonebriar Centre! They have every store and restaurant you can think of, and all kinds of family entertainment in Stonebriar Mall itself and the Centre around the mall.

2. Sports

One neat thing about Frisco is that we have a lot of local sports right in our own backyard. You don’t have to drive all the way to Dallas or Arlington! If you’re into basketball, check out the Texas Legends. If you love soccer, we have FC Dallas. If baseball’s your thing, come see the Frisco Rough Riders! All these teams also have a lot of entertainment during the game, making it a fun outing for everyone. We have a lot of great sporting events right here, and the really cool thing is—when the event is over, you don’t have to drive a long way to get home!

3. The Star in Frisco

We know we just talked about sports, but we gave this one its own category because—well, it’s the Dallas Cowboys! The Star is the Cowboys’ practice facility, and it’s a really fun place to visit. Check it out!

4. Downtown Frisco Square

This is really cool because it has restaurants, the library, a movie theater, apartment living, and all kinds of things in one place. It’s a really neat little part of Frisco!

5. Entertainment

You can go bowling at Strikz, or head to Dave & Busters at Stonebriar Mall. For the thrill-seeker in your family, there’s even an indoor skydiving facility called iFly!
